Saturday, April 9 / 10 - 12 PM
Where: 2204 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31404
Alex Forby of Daughter Handwovens will be teaching you to weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom! We'll learn how to plan a project, thread the loom, and weave 2 washcloth designs. These looms allow for many yards of weaving, unlike frame looms (think the tapestry kind), but they are flexible enough to be used as a tapestry loom as well. It's a great intro to weaving that is approachable and doable for any skill level!
Loom rental is included in your workshop price. If you'd like to keep going you can purchase the loom afterwards and take it home!
We will be using the Kromski Rigid Heddle looms. Find out more about them here: https://daughterhandwovens.com/shop/looms-wheels/kromski-presto-rigid-heddle-loom/
Masks are required for this event if not fully vaccinated.
