Shibori is an ancient Japanese method of resist dyeing that involves stitching, folding, twisting or bunching fabric and binding it before dyeing. Join textile designer, Candace Brodmann of Moss & Marsh, as she walks you through various Shibori dying techniques.
In this class you will get to experiment with dyeing on your own tote bag, bandana, and a large flour sack tea towel. You will learn numerous stitch patterns to create different designs in your fabric in beautiful St. Patrick's Day green color.
Ages 8+ Children need to be able to stitch with a needle and thread. All workshop ticket sales are non-refundable.
