When: March 7, 2020 1-4 PM
Where: Abode Studios 2204 Skidaway Rd.
Alex Forby of Daughter Handwovens will be teaching you to weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom! We'll learn how to plan a project, thread the loom, and weave 2 washcloth designs. These looms allow for many yards of weaving, unlike frame looms (think the tapestry kind), but they are flexible enough to be used as a tapestry loom as well. It's a great intro to weaving that is approachable and doable for any skill level!
If you already have a Rigid Heddle Loom you're welcome to bring it and Alex will show you how to use it. If not we will be renting Kromski Harpe Forte looms for an additional $60 or you can buy your loom for an additional $279. If you choose to rent your loom and decide to buy it at the workshop you will just pay the difference.
**We're setting a max of 5 people for this class so you'll be getting very individualized help and attention. Workshop ticket sales are non-refundable.
